In den älteren Mischtechniken - meist auf Karton, der mittels Lack mit einer Grundtextur versehen wurde - findet ein Prozess der Auflösung geometrischer Formen und Zeichen zu Gunsten informell-intuitiver Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten statt. Dabei entstehen dezente, farbig subtile, abstrakt-meditative Strukturen, Umsetzungen sehr subjektiver Empfindungen und Stimmungen. Auch in den aktuellen Mischtechniken auf Holz beschränkt der Künstler sich auf die Auflösung zeichnerischer Grundelemente.

In elder mixed media paintings - mostly on cardboard, on which a varnish coating is applied which provides a basic texture - a process of decomposition of geometrical forms and signs occurs that favours informal intuitive possibilities of expression. Thereby discreet, subtly coloured, abstract, meditative structures, translations of very subjective sensations and feelings arise. In the current mixed media paintings on wood, the artist also confines himself to the decomposition of basic graphic elements.
