Seltsamste Einfälle kommen und gehen, sie haben 25.04. – 23.05.2009 irgendwo im Kopf ihren Ausgangspunkt genommen, haben Wurzeln geschlagen, wachsen förmlich wie Unkraut, wogegen ich nichts habe, solange diese Sprösslinge nicht die Vielfalt anderer Möglichkeiten überwuchern, und mir das Licht für helle Momente nehmen. Es ist alles eine Folge von Nehmen und Geben. Ich bin nur das Medium, ein Pantomime als Dirigent, durch den die klassische Zeichnung hindurchflutscht. Die Themen umkreisen immer wieder Wesen mit Emotionen, zumeist Figuren, auf sich, und aufs Blatt, alleine gestellt. (Franz Blaas)

The strangest notions come and go; they have taken seed somewhere in the mind, have sprouted roots, positively growing like weeds – something I am happy to accept as long as these seedlings do not overshadow the variety of other possibilities and take from me the light for bright moments. It is all a matter of give and take. I am only the medium – a pantomime as conductor – through which classical drawing surges.The topics again and again revolve around beings with emotions, usually figures isolated within themselves and on paper.
