Wie könnte es anders sein, dass auch in dieser Ausstellung das Plakat – ein zentrales Ausdrucksmittel in der Kunst von Julius Deutschbauer – eine Rolle zugewiesen bekommt. Ein weiterer Versuch, das Plakat als Ausgangspunkt für neue Arbeiten zu nehmen. Erstmals laufen in seiner Ausstellung in der Galerie Ebensperger beide Stränge seiner Arbeit – die Malerei und das Theater – zusammen, und führen zum bewegten Tafelbild.

How else could it be than again giving, in this exhibition, a role to the poster – a pivotal means of expression in the art of Julius Deutschbauer. Another attempt at positioning the poster as a starting point for new works. In his exhibition at the Galerie Ebensperger both main lines of his works – painting and theatre – merge for the first time. He invented for this exhibition the moving panel, his most successful construction to date, which combines sculptural and theatrical works.
