Der Begriff des Konzeptuellen erfährt in letzter Zeit eine vermehrte Aufmerksamkeit als methodisches wie ästhetisches Paradigma zeitgenössischer Kunst. Die Ausstellung zeigt exemplarisch fotografische Bildproduktionen der letzten 15 Jahre, die dieses Konzeptuelle in den Bereich einer Politik der Bilder rücken, die an der Grenze von Sichtbarkeit und Unsichtbarkeit, des Zeigbaren und des Denkbaren angesiedelt ist.

The term of the conceptual has in the past years been granted increased attention as a both methodical and aesthetic paradigm of contemporary art. The exhibition shows exemplary photographic image productions from the last fifteen years which advance this instance of the conceptual into the realm of an image politics situated at the threshold of visibility and invisibility, of the exhibitable and of the conceivable.
