Mit der Ausstellung "Abschaffung von Prügelsprache" geht es Michael Dreyer darum, eine bestimmte Art Zuschauer zu konstruieren, einen Zuhörer, der sich beobachtet und beobachtet fühlt. Das Projekt ist andererseits auch eine Untersuchung der Kunstgattung Portrait und will Formen von bedrohlicher Passivität gegenüber sprachlichen Gewaltakten und Fürsorglichkeiten rekonstruieren.

With the exhibition "Abschaffung von Prügelsprache" ("Abolishing the Language of Beating"), Michael Dreyer is concerned with constructing a certain type of viewer, a listener, who observes and feels observed. At the same time, the project is also an investigation of the art genre of the portrait, seeking to reconstruct forms of threatening passivity in response to verbal acts of violence and protectiveness.
