Zur Eröffnung der aktuellen kunst in graz tritt Alvin Lucier, der international anerkannte Komponist und Klangkünstler für Neue Musik, gemeinsam mit zwei Musikern im Kunsthaus auf. Im Rahmen der Ausstellung von Sol LeWitt präsentiert er mit kurzen Instrumentalstücken und performativen Klangarbeiten, für die Raumskulptur entworfene Arbeiten, die sich in der Sprache der Musik mit dem Raum, dem Material und der strengen Struktur des Konzeptkunstwerkes auseinandersetzen.

For the opening of contemporary art in graz, the internationally acclaimed composer and sound artist for New Music, Alvin Lucier, performs together with two musicians at the Kunsthaus. In conjunction with the Sol LeWitt exhibition, he presents short instrumental pieces and performative sound works designed for the spatial sculpture. They engage with the space, the material and the stringent structure of the concept art work in the language of music.
