Die Galerie CENTRUM befasst sich 2003 mit dem Thema:Kommunikation. Als Einstieg dazu setzt sich der in den Räumen der Galerie eingenistete virtuelle Verein "D.A.L.I. lebt - Ortsgruppe Graz" mit dem Grazer Vereinsgeschehen als Teil der Kommunikation in Graz auseinander. 400 der zahllosen Vereine in Graz wurden im Herbst 2002 angeschrieben und eingeladen, sich im Rahmen der Aktion in den Vereinsräumen zu präsentieren. Ziel ist aber weniger die inhaltliche Beschäftigung mit Vereinsthemen oder -zwecken als die Darstellung der kommunikativen Funktion dieser Vielfalt an Gruppierungen, die das Spektrum alltäglicher Kommunikationskultur widerspiegeln. Die unterschiedlichsten Vereinspositionen suggerieren geradezu ein biologistisches Artenmodell menschlicher Beziehungen. Die Rückmeldungen der Vereine werden geordnet und zur Präsentation aufbereitet, der Prozess der Aktion wird dokumentiert. Künstler des Vereines "D.A.L.I. lebt" werden auf diesen Prozess und die Thematik auf unterschiedliche Weise "reagieren". Die Arbeiten werden dann präsentiert, die Aktion schließt versöhnlich mit dem "Großen Vereinsessen".

In 2003 the Galerie CENTRUM addresses the theme of communication. This starts with the virtual association "D.A.L.I. lives -Local Chapter Graz", which has settled in the facilities of the gallery, exploring the activities of the associations of Graz as part of communication in Graz. 400 of the innumerable associations in Graz received letters in Fall 2002 inviting them to present themselves within the framework of the action in the assembly rooms. The aim, however, has less to do with addressing the subject matter of the associations 'topics or purposes, but is rather intended to depict the communicative function of this diversity of groups that reflects the spectrum of everyday communication culture. The most diverse positions of the associations practically suggest a biologistic species model of human relationships. The responses from the associations were categorized and prepared for presentation, the process of the action will be documented. Artists from the association "D.A.L.I. lives" will "react" to this process and the theme in different ways. The works will then be presented, and the action closes harmoniously with the "great association banquet".
