Das am 10.01.2003 eröffnete "hotel rhizom" (ph_1), als bewohnbares Gesamtkunstwerk von der Künstlergruppe "global bastards" (z.Z. NL) installiert und inhaliert, bildet die Basis der reflexion zone graz und soll in den angrenzenden Ausstellungsräumen bis Ende 2003 Anregungen zur "Selbstentspiegelung" bieten.

Die Arbeiten der zwischen 10.01. und 26.04. eingeladenen GastkünstlerInnen (Halt+Boring, Ales Zemenc, štepánka šimlová, Joe+Andrew), werden als Annäherungen an Graz präsentiert.
"relaxing zone"
Geboten wird: A: test - checkin, B: Testliegen für BesucherInnen und künftige Gäste vom 26.04.bis 27.04., in einem halbstündigem Rhythmus können sie im Zimmer 13 des Hotelareals relaxen. Das Hotelareal bietet: u.a. Gold im Klo, Info pur am Desk, Schrank an der Wand, Hausschuhe an der Decke. Präsentation des in einer Erstauflage erscheinenden "hotel rhizom-folders/map", (der Gruppe RHIZOM) als kommerziell erscheinendes Werbemittel des Infrastrukturprojektes "one room hotel".

The "hotel rhizom" (ph_1), which opened on January 10, 2003 as an inhabitable gesamtkunstwerk inhaled and staged by the artist group "global bastards" (currently NL), forms the basis of the "reflexion zone graz" and is intended to offer self-anti-reflection in the adjacent exhibition rooms until the end of 2003.

As an approach to Graz we present the works of the guest artists (Halt+Boring,štepánka šimlová, Joe +Andrew) ,who were invited between 10.01 and 26.04.
"relaxing zone"
On offer: A: test -checkin, B: test mattress for visitors and future guests from April 26 to 27; at halfourly intervals you can relax in Room 13 of the hotel area. The hotel area offers:gold in the toilet, pure information at the desk, cupboard on the wall, slippers on the ceiling, and more.
Presentation of the first edition of the "hotel rhizom-folders/map" (by the group RHIZOM) as commercially published promotional material for the infrastructure "one room hotel".
